Taia is a Diversity and Inclusion professional at Kier within the transportation sector. She designs and facilitates initiatives with a hallmark approach in designing bespoke initiatives tailored to each depot, office, and project site – ensuring inclusion is sustainable but most of all, engaging all employees where they feel seen and heard. Drawing on her personal experiences of underrepresentation within previous career paths, this has fuelled her commitment to creating spaces where all communities are represented, included, and most of all empowered to thrive.  

Taia has developed psychological safety training tailored to both senior leadership and frontline employees. Designed to be interactive for all audiences, and can be readily adapted to ensure accessibility. The training emphasises the importance of challenging unconscious bias, recognising diverse perspectives, and reinforcing that mental safety is crucial in every workplace – particularly in high-pressure industries such as transportation.
