Tomi Ayede is the Membership DEI Manager at RICS, where she is responsible for initiatives to diversify a global membership of more than 145,000 professionals across the built environment. With extensive experience in designing strategic pathways into built environment, Tomi has played a pivotal role in widening access for underrepresented talent, supporting individuals to progress from entry-level roles through to senior project management positions.

Her expertise spans the creation of impactful mentorship programmes, the delivery of industry-leading diversity strategies, and the cultivation of partnerships with business leaders to foster a more inclusive workforce. A passionate mental health advocate and recognised DEI award winner, Tomi is also a creative spoken word artist, using her artistry to challenge racial inequities and spotlight themes of inclusion, identity, and belonging.
