Mark joined CIOB as their first Head of EDI Transformation in 2021, reporting directly to its CEO. Since that time, he has launched the CIOB D&I Charter for employers with over 375 company signatories to date and their first established the CIOB’s international EDI Conference. Mark was also one of the initiators of the ground-breaking ‘B.E. Inclusive’ partnership with other built environment professional membership institutes (CIOB, CIAT, CICES, CIHT, ICE, RIBA, RICS, RTPI & LI) with a combined membership of circa 400k members to promote a welcoming, diverse and representative sector. Mark has 17 years’ experience in lead EDI roles in the built environment, charity, and HE sectors.
